I keep coming back to my favorite hotel in Matera. The staff helped me find dining spots on my first stay. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, in-room breakfast, and more. Perfect for my needs. See you soon for Christmas!

Tea/coffee making facilities and fridge in room. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of free parking Nice location if you have car. Spacious and modern. Indoor pool, hammam and sauna. Big supermarket very close by.
We didn't like having to pay to use the outdoor swimming pool everyday - which included the 'garden/grounds' which were roped off and had a locked gate! The photo showing the indoor pool doesn't show that you can't get outside from there! The rooms had little storage space for clothing and an irritating cupboard that stuff just fell out on your head - a case of style over function. Only the barest minimum of toiletries supplied - a hotel of this type would have expected more - strangely there were all sorts of things on the chambermaid's trolley but didn't make it to our room! Indiscriminate allocation of rooms - ie some had beautiful views and balcony, others had neither. Breakfast expensive which upped the price of the double room by 24 euros a day for couple. Some staff rather rude and others seemed disinterested with exception of one or two.

The indoor pool.
The Hotel is not 4 klms outside of Matera, but 7klms and 12 klms to the historic centre. All extras at the hotel are charged, example, the outdoor pool cost 5 euro per person. The breakfast at 14 euro is very poor with poor service. One morning there was no water in the hotel, and no one seemed to care. Tourist should avoid this so called hotel.

A quirky hotel with different banqueting areas and a lovely poolside dinner option. The Chef's dishes are both creative and scenic. The hotel offers high-quality amenities, making it a surprising and stylish stay.
Who needs fresh fruit at breakfast anyway?

Several banqueting areas, scenic dishes, high-quality standards, perfect surprise, perfectly blended into inspiring landscape. As glamorous as the scrap yards and abandoned industrial buildings it's surrounded by.
A bottle of water and some milk aren't already included in the outrageously expensive room rate? Unbelievable!

Nice Views and Comfortable Rooms
During our city break, we enjoyed the nice views from the hotel and the comfortable rooms. The hotel also offered a good breakfast, and the staff was friendly. the hotel had easy access to the city center and other attractions.
The hotel staff was unhelpful, and the pool was small and crowded. The hotel lacked basic amenities like a welcome pack or clear information about meal times and facilities.

The hotel had a beautiful garden and views from the bedroom windows. The swimming pool and spa were nice, although there was a 90-minute time limit for using them. The staff were welcoming and the premises had ample parking. The hotel restaurant offered regional and international cuisine and the breakfast was sumptuous.
Felt so at home, nothing to complain about.

Had a great business trip to the southern region of Italy and got to stay at a superb hotel. The rooms were spacious and all the necessary amenities were provided. I loved the buffet-style breakfast, which had a lot of variety and tasted great. The hotel's location was convenient for me as it was close to the places I needed to go for my business meetings.
I wished that the pool was open during my stay. Although the weather was warm and sunny, the pool was closed for maintenance, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a short but enjoyable stay at Unahotels in Matera. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely garden view. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a pool, perfect for relaxing. The staff was friendly and the lobby was inviting. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious local pastries and specialties. it was a great overnight stay before visiting the UNESCO heritage site of Sassi di Matera.

The room at Unahotels Mh Matera was absolutely stunning! It had a modern and sleek design, with a comfortable king-size bed that made me feel like royalty. The flat-screen TV was a great addition, perfect for winding down after a long day exploring Matera. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the hairdryer was a lifesaver.
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the 19-inch flat-screen TV. It felt a bit small for my liking, but I know others may still enjoy it.
